Tickets are $11 in advance or $14 at the door

Contact Ron Falco through Facebook, the IWF website, personal message, or by calling 585-704-2553 for tickets. Or pick up your tickets at Martinos Meeting Place (more outlets to be announced). And as always, IWF will be happy to meet up or deliver the tickets.

In the Main Event for the IWF Heavyweight Championship

Pepper Parks(c) vs Former Champion The Big Rig Brodie Lee

After Pepper's impressive defense over a VERY tough Hornet, John McChesney layed out Pepper and stole his Championship belt. It has been forwarded from the IWF front offices that if McChesney doesn't return the belt before August 1st he will be suspended.

Also, due to prior commitments Brodie Lee was unable to defend his IWF title in March. And due to IWF rules, if a champion is unable to defend his title, unless it's due to injury, he is stripped. Lee never LOST the title, and it is said that he is very angry and looking for payback and his title. Will Pepper be able to turn back the challenge of the runaway Rig?

Just added...

IWF Tag Team Title Match

Caribbean Connection vs T-Rex Express

Due to the cheating ways of T-Rex Express this match has been made a No DQ Match for the vacant Tag Team Titles.

Ring of Honor's Cheech will face Internanational Superstar, Canada's own, Hornet. This is a main event match anywhere.

Dalton Castle vs Evan McCloud

In Your Face Wrestling news on the upcoming show on 8/28 in Ballston Spa

posted 8/2/10

courtesy of iyfwrestling.com

In Your Face Wrestling hopes all our fans enjoyed the Fourth of July. Lots of things are a happening these days and we’ve got some big news:

IYFW Championship Match signed for "Night of the New Breed"

Guillaume deSade will defend the title against Coronation Cup 2010 winner Michael Monroe. Many fans feel that Monroe has the capability and the momentum to dethrone "The Modern Day Marquis," but he should be wary as the Champion has proven time and time again that he will keep his title by any means necessary.

In Your Face Wrestling’s New Breed will run the Gauntlet!

The New Breed Championship will be contested in a Gauntlet match where two men will begin, and after one is pinned, submits, is disqualified or counted out, another man will enter the ring. Right now we can confirm that both Jamar "Magic" Justice and Adam Badger are slated to be in the match. Other names will be announced soon.

Burton Banned!?

IYFW is furious with the actions of Maxx "The Ax" Burton at the June 12th event. Burton was in no way scheduled to appear. This has many in the IYFW office looking to ban him from the August 28th event, but people like C.J. Scott and Vigo are demanding that Burton be allowed to the show so they can face him. We are getting word that Burton is once again avoiding all contact with IYFW so we can not confirm what his status will be on August 28th. We will keep you informed.

The Commish wants World Class Women!

Alexzandra, a long time lobbyist for Women’s Wrestling in IYFW, has stated that she is in contact with some of the top female talent around and vows to bring World Class Women’s Wrestling back to the promotion. We don’t know specifically whom Alex is speaking with but we do know that inquiries from around the country have been flooding her email and voice mail once word got out. More news to come as this develops.

Next Era Wrestling Central returns to Rochester THIS SATURDAY

posted 7/14/10

courtesy of nexterawrestling.com

UWC Returns!

At the end of Retribution as Titus Smith was looking to put away Kriptic Keegan, the Disciples of Destiny interrupted and along with Kriptic, proceeded to attack Titus. This prompted the rest of the Underworld Cartel to come out from the back and go to battle for their fellow man. As if that was not enough ammunition, to even up the odds, and (shockingly) much to the delight of the crowd in attendance, "The Righteous One" JC Money returned and rejoined his UWC Bretheren and cleaned house. After Titus challenged Kriptic to a "Pick Your Poison" Challenge for Scars & Stripes, JC took the microphone and simply said to "Mad Dog" Bobby Rogers, "We're back!"

While it is no secret that the UWC has it's share of fans, the entire Next Era crowd has been supportive of the group in recent months. The crowd got behind Tyger Smith and the Bacardi Kid during their match with Capital Punishment, Titus Smith since the Clash, and JC Money returning. Is this a sign of a new outlook for The UWC? Not necessarily..N.E.W. Media caught up with JC Money whom was with his cousin Da Latin Soldier as they were leaving and JC said, "I came out to help my family, nothing more, nothing less. Make no mistake about it, popularity or not, Brian Emanon has my belt and I want it. I will have it back, and I don't care what the fans think of that." Soldier also added, "And at Scars & Stripes, I will win the Next Division title from Horace White...regardless of how they feel."

Questions still remain as to what the Cartel's next move is, or how exactly the Disciples of Destiny feels about this. Will they retaliate? There has been a war of words lately on JC Money, Cassius Cutcher, and Superbeast's respective Twitter accounts. This is something to watch...when 2 rival gangs cross each others path, something bad usually happens.

Emanon/Falco 3: Fans Bring the Weapons

Scars and Stripes will certainly live up to it’s name as the Main Event of the evening will feature N.E.W.’s first Fans Bring the Weapons Match in 4 years. After months on uncontrolled brawls Next Era Wrestling officials have announced Ron Falco and Brian Emanon will face each other in this brutal match with the Next Era Wrestling World Championship on the line.

The last time such a match occurred was at the first Ultimate Clash which saw Din Mak compete against Ryot with the North Eastern championship on the line. JC Money snuck his way into that match and was able to capitalize and win the championship.

What surprises will this match bring? Secure your tickets for Scars and Stripes today to find out!

2 New Matches added to Retribution!

Next Era Wrestling officials have announced 2 additional matches for Retribution THIS SATURDAY. Venomous will be making his singles debut as he takes on Subarashii Pumpkoeen, while the N.E.W. United States Tag Team Champions The Shamrockers will defend their championships against Foxx and Phoenix.

Stay tuned to www.nexterawrestling.com for more information on Retribution.

From what I've been told, BCW's show that was scheduled for today has been postponed until September. When I get word on the new date, I'll post it here. I'm, aware this is somewhat at the last minute but considering that I had seen little to no promotion on this show by BCW, plus the fact that it was removed from their facebook page led me ask about this the other day. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Squared Circle Wrestling hypes this Saturday's show in Syracuse

posted 7/7/10

As posted on the 2CW forums:

2CW Presents: Show #50!

This show is so HUGE, it's simply named #50. This Saturday night, July 10th in Syracuse, NY, Squared Circle Wrestling presents its 50th show since it's debut back in April of 2006. Just this past April, 2CW celebrates its 5th Living on the Edge weekend. Now, we reach another big event in the ever growing exisistance of 2CW. Now we put on show #50. Now we get more hardcore than before, now we showcase what true independent wrestling is all about. Now we show the world why 2CW will be around for 50 more shows. This Saturday night will showcase why 2CW is the best there is around. Hey, we even have a tag team named The Best Around, and we'll show you why that is.

Do you remember your first 2CW show? Do you remember back at Living on the Edge, where ZS3 went to battle with Spike Dudley in the first ever Main Event of Squared Circle Wrestling? How about Shakedown '06 when the tables didn't break for the very first time? Or maybe at the only Oncenter show we've done where we had a tables match, flag match and some New Age Outlaws? Were you there the night we had our own Iron Man Match? Or how about a fans at ringside strap match? Remember Slyck vs Scorpio? How about NWA Championship Weekend with Abyss and Spike Dudley? TNA loves 2CW, as we even had a TNA X Division title match with Chris Sabin and Isys Ephex! Some great fueds from the early starts of 2CW included Spike vs Jason Axe, ZS3 vs Gordy and All Money is Legal vs The Killer Steves! If you're a fan of 2CW, you certainly know about TABLES..just ask Steve Kruz. The year-long (well 10 months, minus the two months we had no champion!) reign of our first (and second) 2CW champion, Dizzie! How about those awesome Ladder Matches? Let's not forget “Pooh on a Pole”! How about the best women's action this side of Shimmer: Nikki Roxx, Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze, and of course, Portia Perez. Were you there during the NWA Upstate WAR? Did you travel to Rochester to watch the War Games contest? Or the night we had to close down for 90 days?!? Speaking of Rochester, what about the wild dive from Loca Vida off the balancy!? Our first cage match for the 2CW title was a night to remember, so was the night “Main Event” Jason Axe won the title. He's still running on the title win, he hasn't lost the championship that he won over a year ago. The Killer Steves hasn't had such luck, as Steve Kruz has left 2CW forever. Do you remember the awesome weekend where we crowned 2CW Tag Team Champions? How about the amazing set of tag team title matches we've had since? How about Isys vs Portia? Student vs Teacher...ZS3 vs J Freddie. Axis of Evil, Jimmy Fondation, NWA Upstate and the 2CW leaders. So many great matches, fueds and moments in 2CW's history. We've had so many of the sports legends grace the 2CW ring, such as “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Jerry “The King” Lawler. What do we have store next? Well how about the brand new TV (internet) show, SuperSonic?

What's my point of this? Do you remember all those good times? Do you remember what it felt to be there for those and so many other great moments in 2CW's short history? I know you do, and you won't want to miss out what is in store for you this Saturday evening at the Pastime Athletic Club. Show #50, and we've brought you a hell of a wrestling card. So let's get right to that now.

Three-Way Dance

Mike Van Slyke vs Kevin Graham vs “Studly” Steve McKenzie

Two of the students from the institute of professional wrestling, Van Slyke and Graham will face off against each other, however, there is a third man in the match, and his name is Steve McKenzie. One half of the famous Killer Steves stated recently that he will start from the bottom and work his way up the card as a single's wrestler. This is certainly his chance to do that. Show #50. However, it is also the chance of the other two young up and coming wrestlers in 2CW. Mike and Kevin have a lot to prove in 2CW, and this is their chance to do so. The question is, who will make their point known?

2CWATHON Rematch

Colin Delaney vs Loca Vida

Former WWE superstar, Colin Delaney was very upset over his loss on Father's Day to the luchador. He insists he can defeat Loca and move on to bigger and better things. However, many wrestlers have thought this over the last couple of years, and have walked away with more defeats. Just ask Antonio Thomas. Loca might be a fun-loving high-flying luchador, but he isn't to be taken lightly. He certainly is a force to be recken with inside that ring. Colin had better train real hard, study a lot of video tape, and be very prepared for this rematch, or the result, I suspect, will be the same.

Submission Match

ZS3 vs Slyck Wagner Brown

This feud started back at the Grand Prix when Slyck decided to use ZS3's students as a message to the 2CW management. They had a match on Father's Day in Watertown, but with some questionable counting by the referee, nothing was decided. Maybe this submission match will decide who is the better man. Remember these two are very familiar with each other, with both men training under Killer Kowalski and working in the same areas for many years. With Slyck's new attitude and ZS3's anger towards SWB, this could certainly be a physical and brutal contest to watch.

Woman's Match

Nikki Roxx vs Portia Perez

In this contest, we have the return to 2CW of Nikki Roxx. She has been listening to Portia talk about defeating everyone thrown in her way, and wants to remind Portia that Nikki isn't a push-over. These two have had many matches against each other here in 2CW, and still nothing has been proven to each other. I don't believe this will be the last of these two fighting each other, this will just be another spark lighting this fire. Porta is just coming off a loss against Amazing Kong in Watertown, and she has a reputation to uphold, she isn't happy about the return of Nikki, and Portia is looking to take her our once and for all. Maybe #50 is the place to do it, but we'll see.

#1 Contenders Match

2CW Grand Prix Champion, Isys Ephex vs “Big Rig” Brodie Lee

Isys was originally booked to wrestle in the rubber match against “Hurricane” John Walters, but I understand that “Hurricane” John Walters is nursing a knee injury and the New York State Athletic Commission's doctor will not let him compete in the contest. In its place, a number one contenders match. Isys certainly deserves this spot, winning the big tournament back in May. Brodie lost in Watertown, but because of outside interference and a couple of low blows, he deserves another shot as well. Matthew Scott decided to bring these two together to decide the next challanger to the 2CW championship. Both men are huge favorites of the loyal 2CW faithful, so I think the fans will be split down the middle on who they want to see win.One thing is for sure, this will be an awesome match to showcase another point on why 2CW is the best wrestling in the country.

Special Attraction

2CW Tag Team Champion, Davey Richards vs J Freddie

With Eddie Edwards over in Japan during #50, 2CW management didn't know what to do with Davey Richards. Who could we possibly put in the ring with him? So many choices, how to decide? Well, it was an easy answer. J Freddie. Why? Because the kid wouldn't leave 2CW management alone! He called the offices, he called the promotors, he called Loca Vida, and ZS3, he even called me! Ok, maybe he didn't go that far, but he did have lengthy conversations with 2CW officials and management to get this match booked. He wanted to wrestle a man he looks up to, arguably the best independent wrestler on the scene right now. So, with no 2CW tag team title match to plan, it was made...Davey Richards vs J Freddie. As you've seen on SuperSonic, and I believe you will see again this week, not many people think Freddie will even be alive after this match. He is the underdog for sure going into this match. He knows that, he wants that. Davey Richards never takes his opponents lightly, and this will be physical. J Freddie wants to prove to himself he can hang with the American Wolf. He's already defeated the other 2CW Tag Team Champion back in Oswego. J Freddie is ready, but the problem is...so is Davey Richards.

Special Attraction Three Way Dance

Spike Dudley vs SABU vs Necro Butcher

Originally announced as a singles match with Spike vs Sabu, but what the hell, lets bring in more insanity...lets bring in Necro Butcher for the fun of it. Jack Trades thought he was in for it with just Sabu vs Spike, he's probably already booked the ambulance ride for Saturday evening. What can I really type in this hype to make you understand the wild, crazy, insanity that could be displayed this Saturday night? If you've seen the movie The Wrestler, you know what Necro is all about. If you've been to any other 2CW show with Spike on it, you know he's crazier than a pet racoon (Thanks JR!) and Sabu's body is proof of what he'll do to win any match. You just have to be in attendance live to see what can, and probably will, happen.

Main Event – 2CW Heavyweight Championship Match

Challenger, Jimmy “Jam” Olsen vs Champion, “Main Event” Jason Axe

With Jimmy's win in Watertown over J Freddie, he has earned the opportunity to face the 2CW Champion, Jason Axe. Jimmy even took the first shot in the battle, as he superkicked the champ after his title defense against Brodie Lee on Father's Day. If you remember, these two have unsettled issues involving the 2CW championship. It was back in June, at the tag team title tournament weekend, that Jason Axe pinned Jimmy Olsen for the title. It was a very controversial contest. It was a six-man tag team match, that Jimmy pulled out of. However, he was told that if he didn't compete, he would be stripped, and the winner would be awarded the championship. The match ended up going on without Jimmy Olsen starting, however, he entered (as a 7th participant) and was pinned by “Main Event” and lost the championship. Jimmy Olsen never did get a one on one rematch, that is...until this Saturday night. This weekend, Jimmy Olsen gets his chance to defeat the man that took the championship away from him over a year ago. But it won't be easy. “Main Event” Jason Axe has defeated all comers since last June. Axe keeps winning, and it'll be very difficult to defeat him for the championship. “Main Event” has it all right now, 2CW title, seemingly awesome relationship with Portia Perez, huge roll coming into one of the biggest shows in 2CW's history. If he can defeat Jimmy, will that quiet all the critics?

NWA New York 6/26 results

posted 6/27/10

All Star Sports Arena

Irondequoit, NY

-Cheech beat Julio Dinero. Good opener.

-Mo Mantha, Ben Golden, Richard Venice, & Nick & Gino Ando beat Spazz, Dalton Castle, Dicky Harter, Ice, & Soundcheck Sully.

-John McChesney beat Pepper Parks to become the #1 contender to the Heavyweight title.

-Danny Doring beat Colin Delaney. One of the highlights was Doring putting Richard Venice though a table. The end came when Tommy Dreamer's music hit and Colin was distracted long enough for Doring to get the pin.

-Balls Mahoney & Dewey beat Little Guido & Rob Sweet in an extreme rules match. Tables, chairs, and a mousetrap covered board all came into play here. Balls put Sweet over afterward for his toughness.

-Heavyweight Champion Gabe Saint beat Tommy Dreamer in an extreme rules match to retain the title. Delaney came out and clocked Dreamer with a cane allowing Saint to score the pin. The heels beat down Dreamer afterward until Doring came out to make the save.

-The Caribbean Connection beat Tag-Team Champions Hellcat & Triple X, The McClouds, and Brodie Lee & Cloudy in a war games elimination cage match to win the titles. The match was insane. For most of the match, there was battles taking place inside the cage and on the arena floor. The end came when Maximo Suave was able to reach the floor before Hellcat could get out of the cage.

I got to the show just before Cheech vs Dinero started so I don't know if there were any pre-show matches or not. In my opinion, this was one of the bests card I've seen so far this year. The crowd was hot for most of the show. Kyle McCloud had to be helped out of the ring after he was eliminated from the cage match. NWA New York announced their next show will be 8/28 at Rochester's German House.
